50 Kilometers Of Belokurikha Ski Track
Orimi Trade acted in the capacity of a partner of the Belokurikha Ski Marathon held in the village of Altayskoye. The Belokurikha Marathon was organized by Orimi Trade's long-tern trading partner and one of the largest retailers in Siberia Maria-Ra.
Although this sporting event is rather new (the 50 km ski marathon was held just for the second year), it is considered the largest and most popular ski event in Altay.
The second Belokurikha Marathon saw a two-fold increase in the number of participants. Almost 1,500 skiers of all ages took part in the competition. The ski track was arrange so as to give weaker competitors an opportunity to quit the race and get to the finish area on their own. However, a vast majority of skiers made it to finish where they were greeted by spectators and received trophies and honorary medals "For the Care of Own Health".
