INNOVATIONS BEING MARKED
Orimi factory became the laureate of the annual competition "Business, developing region" in the nomination "innovations development and implementation". The competition, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and the Government of the Leningrad Region is annually held in the region. The main goal of this peculiar business review is to distinguish merits and achievements of the most successful and socially responsible enterprises and organizations of the Leningrad Region.
Orimi Factory won the "Business, developing region" competition for implementing a comprehensive solution in the category of natural hot drinks and launching tea and coffee capsules for the Greenfield and Jardin brands, respectively.
Greenfield and Jardin capsules are made of aluminum – the material, having high barrier properties, ensuring completely intact flavour and aromatic properties of the product. Orimi Group of Companies became the first Russian manufacturer offering aluminum capsules compatible with the Nespresso system – to this day on the Russian market there were only plastic capsules.
For the production of tea and coffee in capsules, a new production site has been created at the Orimi factory. The total investment in equipment, technology, quality control system exceeds 100 million rubles. The production process is fully automated and works with the use of advanced technologies that ensure high consumer qualities of the finished product – coffee capsules are made in accordance with Protection Technology and Fresh Flavor Protection technologies, which provide complete protection of coffee from impact of oxygen; a filter paper membrane is embedded in the tea capsules, thus helping to prevent the foam formation on the surface of the finished drink. The capacity of the line is up to 300 thousand capsules per day.
