Festive celebrations took place in Vyborg (according to the established tradition, each year the birthday of the region is celebrated in one of the district centers). Carnival pillars representing all districts of the Leningrad region passed through the central streets of the 725-year-old Vyborg. This time the topic of the procession was the emblems, and each regional delegation in one way or another depicted the emblem of its own region. Heraldic symbols - animals and birds, rooks and boats – walked, flew and sailed through the streets of Vyborg.
The performances were watched by the Governor of the Leningrad region, dressed as a knight, and other members of the regional administration, as well as the jury.
The carnival procession ended in the Market Square, where the defile "Revived emblems" took place, and then the action was moved to the Red Square, where a great concert was held. The City of Craftsmen was opened all day between the Red and Market Squares – hundreds of companies operating in the region presented their products.  
Orimi Trade Group of Companies traditionally took part in the festival. Coffee and tea tastings, quizzes and competitions, branded souvenirs and the opportunity to buy new products of popular brands made Orimi Trade Pavilion one of the most lively and visited places.
