The 4th All-Russian Children's Beach Volleyball Festival has finished in Velikiy Novgorod. The ancient Russian city on the banks of the river Volkhov hospitably received 147 teams of young volleyball players from 12 regions of Russia and Kazakhstan.
Eight volleyball courts were organized right at the foot of the Novgorod Kremlin, the juniors were greeted by the Governor of the Novgorod region Andrey Nikitin and the President of the Northwest Volleyball Association, Honored Master of Sports of the USSR, Alexander Saprykin, and Veliky Novgorod for two days turned into the capital of children's volleyball. Festival program was not limited only directly to the competition - fans and free from games athletes could attend master classes in aerobics, take part in the competition for the best drawing, paint clay figurines and try their powers in the "Merry starts".
It is a bit annoying that the weather was spoiled – the awarding ceremonies were held in the rain, but this did not spoil the mood of the young laureates of the festival. All of them received medals and diplomas of appropriate dignity, gifts from the organizers and promotional prizes from GC Orimi Trade, which is a permanent partner of the North-West Volleyball Association.
