ISO 22000 is Confirmed

ORIMI factory has passed a recertification audit for compliance with the international standard ISO 22000 in the field of food safety.
ISO 22000 standard, which regulates food safety management systems, was introduced at the Company in 2015; the audit for compliance with the requirements of the standard was conducted by SGS company – the largest international organization engaged in independent examination, certification and laboratory research. SGS conducted supervisory audits in 2016 and 2017, to confirm that the Company complies with the requirements of the standard.
In accordance with the regulations, a recertification audit is carried out three years after the introduction of the standard – in fact, it is a new certification of the enterprise. This is due to the fact that during three years of work, the management system implemented in the production can be changed significantly due to the introduction of new technologies, expansion of production capacity, the appearance of new products. Recertification audit was designed to confirm that the management system of ORIMI factory still meets the requirements of ISO 22000.
The ISO 22000 standard, which regulates food safety management systems, is based on a systematic approach that regulates all stages of production – from the receipt of raw materials to the use of the product by the consumer. The fundamental provisions of the standard is the priority of preventive quality control and product safety, the availability of documented safety system of manufactured products, as well as the definition of responsibility of each employee for food safety.
