Orimi production complex certified by progressive food safety scheme
All three enterprises of the Orimi production complex (tea factories No. 1 and No. 2 and a coffee production plant) have been certified according to the FSSC 22000 scheme, the globally recognized and most effective model for global food safety.
The FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification) is the most progressive approach to food quality and safety management out there. Recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), the FSSC defines the requirements for the development, implementation and operation of food safety management systems and enables control of not only the entire production cycle, but also auxiliary processes that can affect the quality and safety of the final product.
FSSC 22000 is based on ISO 22000, a widely recognized standard for food safety management systems, industry prerequisite programs (PSPs), and the additional requirements of FSSC 22000, which include the creation of an effective and safe work environment, the elimination of ingredients that can have a negative impact on health, total risk control, organization of measures to combat counterfeit products, and more.
