Orimi Trade brands have passed the certification under the Petersburg Quality Mark Program
Orimi Trade took part in the system of voluntary certification of products – Petersburg Quality Mark. The program of voluntary certification was spearheaded by the Government of St. Petersburg in cooperation with the St. Petersburg State Center of Product, Work and Service Quality Control. The project is implemented with participation of food producers of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, retail chains and independent expert organizations.
As distinct from the voluntary certification within the GOST R system and other voluntary systems of Russia, the Petersburg Quality Mark implies proven compliance with such vitally significant and most important criteria as requirements to environmental safety of products, requirements to consumer qualities of products and requirements to organoleptic characteristics of products (checked and confirmed by using tasting tests). Besides, The Petersburg Quality Mark system required regular inspection audits of the production of certified products and laboratory tests applicable to samples bought directly in stores.
The Certificate of Conformity of the Petersburg Quality Mark voluntary certification system was awarded to three brands of Orimi Trade – black tea “Princess Noori”, green tea “princess Java” and coffee “Jockey”. The voluntary certification is another proof of steadily high quality of brands, which for several years have been the best-selling tea and natural coffee brands in Russia.
