Staff from Orimi’s warehouse complex recently held practical classes for students at the Leningrad Region Multicentre for Social and Labour Integration who are enrolled on Computer Operator training courses.
The project marked a continuation of the cooperation between Orimi and the Multicentre, a unique educational technology park where new social technologies designed to help young people with disabilities integrate into society are developed and tested. This spring, Orimi and the Multicentre delivered a targeted Tea Product Packer vocational training course: Multicentre staff developed an individually adapted educational course designed to last 420 academic hours and take into account the specific nature of the products and manufacturers’ recommendations.
During the practical Computer Operator training, Multicentre students had the opportunity to become acquainted with the 1C Warehouse application solutions, which are used at the Orimi Production Complex for production and warehouse accounting. Orimi staff highlighted the basic modules of the ERP system for the planning and accounting of all facility resources to maximise the efficiency of production processes.
